I got my figurine in the mail today I didn't realise the packaging was so...large lol :D it was sent recorded delivery too! just as well my dad was around to sign for it since I was at work lol... I got sent a free Cadbury Spots vs Stripes Challenge bar, it just arrived today I wasn't sure if I'd get it or not. I'd been promoting the campaign and sent some silly/witty tweets to them and they had RTed a few of my tweets, so having not won any of the weekly contests I tweeted them asking kindly if I could get a little something because they'd enjoyed my tweets, having RTed a few of them and they replied saying something along of the lines of go on then, as you asked nicely email us your address and we'll pop something in the post - yay!

I'm a hapy camper today lol! its not much but its something! I saw it on sale this morning for the first time in a branch of WH Smiths. They were on sale for 87p I think... im relieved I decided against buying one now haha... (I did question whether they actually had sent me anything as it was almost a week ago I emailed them).

I guess this goes to show that you don't always have to win contests to get things, maybe being creative on social network sites like twitter can pay (if you think of an interesting/fun way to promote and interact with a company/retailer then make them aware of this), so it may be worth baring that in mind

I just won a £50 Amazon voucher! *eek* I won a twitter contest ran by @metro_ents called the secret hashtag contest. I got a DM half an hour ago saying I won and to send them my email adress; im just waiting to receive the email with the voucher code on it - how exciting! this is definitely my biggest win this year :D the contest involved looking at photos on their website and searching for a hidden hashtag word or phrase, which, this week, was #toast their contest was run via this account:- Metro Online (Metro_Online) on Twitter
so feel free to follow them and good luck if you enter, their running another contest today I think
