I think im going to treat myself to the Glee DVD boxset, as I was keen on getting it but kept waiting to see if I'd win it in a comp (having entered a few) and I haven't won the first 2 or 3 comps and I'm still wanting to get it and I've just discovered this evening that I've also won £20 on the Triviala Question of the Day draw yesterday, so im going to put both of those £20 prizes towards buying the boxset as a treat to myself which im sure I'll enjoy

Well I went to the shops this morning. I didn't think HMV would be cheap but I was still a bit shocked to find them selling the full boxset for £39.99! even though I did win 2 x £20 yesterday I wasn't prepared to pay that much just for the boxset *grump* then I noticed elsewhere in the shop they sold the same boxsets for £32.99(!) but I opted for the volume 2 set with half the eps as I found that on sale for £19.99 and my favourite episodes were the last 5 or 10 (and again in the chart section the same boxset has a different price of £21.99(!)) so I went to the checkout to pay for it and the cashier says that'll be £21.99(!) of course I pointed out that it has the £19.99 price label as I'd found it cheaper elsewhere and he rung it through at the lower price - I just *love* getting money off, that £2 save fair cheered me up haha! its shocking they do that though, having the same item(s) in the chart section and charging more for it than they charge in the promotional display hidden away elsewhere in the same shop, then ringing it through at the higher price - shame on you HMV! but yes, thats my prize money spent and im happy that I wasn't charged £2 too much! thanks again - I'll definitely enjoy watching the boxset
